Apologies for all the separate posts - it kept removing the photos when I tried to add more than one!

Maxx is currently working hard in the office and quite oblivious to the thunder storm outside!

Max has come to stay for another short break from kennels.
He’s enjoyed a number of walks in the Hertfordshire countryside over the weekend On Sunday morning I picked up my mother and we went for an outing to a local charity dog show. Maxx sat happily with us watching the activities in the ring and while we had lunch at the refreshment tent. He met and greeted all dogs happily. When I got home in the afternoon I decided he could do with a bath. He didn’t mind at all and loves being dried with a towel. In fact if you put the towel on the floor he’ll dry himself!! We then sat in the garden for a while – he has to be on a tether as my garden is wildlife friendly and Maxx isn’t! He can’t understand why the birds and hedgehogs get fed (he tries to eat their food!) and as for the family of wood mice in the shed – left to Maxx they wouldn’t be there much longer!! He’s back in the office with me today though judging by his positions he’s not going to get much work done He’s a typical terrier in many ways but is such a friendly and easy going boy – whoever homes him will be very lucky

Maxx has been to stay with me again for a few days. He's been well behaved both at home and in the office. He got quite excited when I went to harness him on a couple of occasions - but he does know 'sit' - he just choses to ignore it at times! He's walked well both in the countryside and around housing estates where he wants to stop and chat to people in their gardens - he's quite nosey and likes to see what is going on! I haven't tried leaving him indoors on his own yet - I'll do it on his next visit if he doesn't find a home before then.

I was greeted by a very enthusiastic and happy Maxx when he was brought out of his kennel on Saturday. I think he'd forgiven me for returning him to kennels in the week! It was getting quite warm by the time it was his turn for a walk so we walked in the woods then had a sit on a bench in the shade.

Maxx had a special meeting today, he walked well with Harvey patterdale and made a big impression on Ian, next thing Maxx had jumped into the back of Ian's car and it was paperwork time
Maxx is homed, I think him and Ian are going to be very happy and have lots of fun times Maxx was super cool and super happy, he was rolling on his back in Ian's car as we completed the homing forms
